The Containerised Chicken Rotisserie, featured below, was built by Container World for “Birdz”, a company specialising in providing healthy and sustainable diet choices. We assisted with the launch of their “Birdz Pods”, serving rotisserie-roasted, free-range chickens in strategic locations. This “Pod” concept offers an opportunity to any chicken farmer to add value to their proposition by selling their chickens direct to the public, frozen or cooked, as opposed to operating as a supplier only.

The Pod is completely fitted out with everything necessary to make the business a success, including the automated rotisseries, display fridges and POS terminals, amongst other essential items. It is also incredibly secure, kept safe in the confines of the steel container walls.

Container World also offers a diverse choice of innovative cold storage solutions, for use either as static storage of chilled or frozen products, as well as units that are capable of quick-freezing product (“Blast-freezers”). Our blast-freezers allow the opportunity to freeze large amounts of product in a short period of time, ensuring the freshness of the product is maintained.
