The Rwandan government plans to expand climate-resilient agriculture through major irrigation projects over the next five years, Prime Minister Justin Nsengiyumva told Parliament recently as he presented the government’s new development programme. The Rwanda Agriculture and Animal Resources Development Board (RAB), says more than 60,000 hectares will be covered by ongoing and planned projects to meet the Government’s target.
