Wellington & White is essentially a one-stop shop for Agribusiness development.

Introduction

Wellington & White was formed by Steve Wellington and Ian White in 2016. Each of the partners has over 40 years’ experience in the food industry and agribusiness covering all six continents and over eighty countries; a team that that has created new companies and opportunities all over the world in these sectors; a unique team that comprises individuals with entrepreneurial, technical, financial and high level corporate experience.

In addition to the main partners experience, they also field a team comprising leading experts in soil science, agronomy, food science, compliance, legal and financial disciplines. A partnership with a finance house completes the whole development and advisory picture.

Experience Beyond Theory

Wellington & White combines a unique blend of technical and practical experience. We bring so much more to projects and proposals than theory and strategy. Between us we have spent many years at the sharp end of business starting and developing new operations.

Our experience as taught us that theory, practice and reality are frequently not the same thing.

One of the core specialities of this team is the design and operation of packing and process facilities for fresh food. Our experience in this goes back as far as 1978 and includes the development of many of the techniques that are often taken for standard today. Our mission is to use our unique global experience and extensive networks to develop new opportunities in the agribusiness and food sectors throughout Africa.

The establishment of an agribusiness in any sector is a highly specialized activity. Wellington & White has the proven necessary skills to provide an “end to end solution”. We can take the business from start up through, design, financing, off take and marketing and provide dedicated, experienced on going management.

It is important to stress that such an aim is not achievable by recommendations alone; while Wellington & White will provide a full consultancy proposal for development and sustainability of the project, the practical hands-on management of the project is vital to a successful operation – it is this unique combination of skills, experience and proven track record that Wellington & White brings to the table.
