Lasher is Africa’s foremost manufacturer of non-mechanical agricultural tools.

The South African-based company’s products are available across the continent.

The main competitive advantage of Lasher Tools lays in the “Guaranteed quality” of our product. Our products carry the ISO9001 and SABS (South African of Standards) stamp.

We acquire the above SABS ISO9001 certification through ongoing auditing of our products, by the South African bureau of Standards as well as in shop testing of all batches leaving our premises.

Lasher’s roots date back to 1928 when it was purely a shovel company. Shovels were followed by picks, spades, forks and other garden and mining tools.

Today the Lasher team is still working together to produce tough and reliable tools. Current manufacturing facilities can supply the whole South African market as well as providing sufficient volume for export. Exports to the rest of the continent have been an important focus for the business in recent years. Lasher tools have three main manufacturing facilities based in Johannesburg and Ladysmith. We currently export to the following countries:

Africa

South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Mozambique, Angola, Kenya, DRC, Malawi, Swaziland, Botswana, Namibia, Seychelles, Mauritius, Uganda, Ethiopia and Nigeria.

Abroad

United States, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand.

As long as there are buildings to erect, roads to build, fields to sow and hoe, mines to mine and gardens to grow, we will continue to manufacture tough, reliable tools.
