“Our systems and brand are our pride and passion, offering you peace of mind with the best service and backup is our goal”
Farm Costing Solutions (FCS) is a well-established privately-owned company with a wealth of knowledge gained over the past 27 years. We are based in Killarney Gardens (Cape Town), Ceres and Johannesburg. We have a staff compliment of 22 permanent employees and outsource to 8 other consultants on a permanent basis.
We research, develop and manufacture our own hardware and software. We operate primarily within the agricultural sector ensuring that we are always at the forefront of technology.
All FCS software is SQL based and has been developed using extensive research and input from clients enabling a fully integrated comprehensive system that measures and records all labour activities in the field. This, in turn, ensures detailed daily reporting in an extremely user-friendly systems environment.
Software modules we provide are:
Time & Attendance
Piecework/Productivity
Job Costing
Unproductive Time
Payroll, (all the above modules ultimately synchronise seamlessly with our own purpose-written payroll).
Spray Module
Fertiliser Module.
The FCS reader is the core of the system collecting real-time data in the orchard/field and information is downloaded via GSM to a cloud server at predetermined intervals chosen by the user or from our own purpose-built download and charging racks. All information is then processed by the system for labour management, job costing and ultimately payroll.
Support: we pride ourselves on our solid, personalised client relations which we achieve and continuously build on using our team of highly qualified technicians.
Farm Costing Solutions works closely with the farmer in order to understand their business and provide a tailor-made system. This then caters fully to their needs and forms part of our offering of a total solution for the farmer under the one umbrella of Farm Costing Solutions.
Farm Costing Solutions systems have not only been implemented by most successful South African farming enterprises but also in neighbouring countries and proved successful even further afield in countries such as Australia.
