Who we Are

From sourcing, procurement and purchasing to insurance, clearing, transportation and storage of your goods within the African continent and beyond. Adding to bulk, project and general cargo, our consolidation services and fresh produce procurement offering into and for Angola has led us from strength to strength.

The African Transport Operations Agency Head Office was established in Cape Town, South Africa in 2014 for the purpose of guaranteeing a more trusted connection and facility when it comes to our clients having their cargo moved throughout Africa by road, sea, air or multimodal Freight.

The enterprise was originally solely focused on Road Freight between South Africa and Angola but our efficiency and success has led to us establishing and extending our partnerships further. We are fluently Portuguese and English speaking and are partnered with the most established and efficient regional and national agents. What we do

LOGISTICS

ATOA has a dedicated team with specialist knowledge of over border road freight to neighbouring territories. We specialise in running our own fleet into Angola and act as brokers who are able to select and utilise hauliers who specialise in SADC routes. Having first-hand knowledge of the route planning, customs policy with regards to border crossings and road conditions along the route. Our focus is on offering an efficient and consistent consolidation service between SA and Angola. theis service is especially geared to suport the oil and Gas, mining and agricultural industries complete- to door solutions where swift transit times are required.

In order to ensure prompt border crossings, we have appointed agents in all the neighbouring territories and they are able to assist importers at destination with documentary requirements in these foreign countries with our own offices in Angola and full customs clearing services at Santa Clara.

Full Load Road Freight

Our full Road Freight or FCL is set-up to offer solutions for Break Bulk and Project Cargo where heavy duty and or oversized cargo is being moved. Loads up to 32 tonnes, palletized or Break Bulk would require this type of freight.

Dedicated Road Freight Service

This Service is suited to clients needing a Door to Door service for smaller loads and or Transfers for multimodal freight or time sensitive cargo where consolidations are not an option. This would also suit destinations off the beaten track for smaller consignments.

Consolidated Road Freight Service

We arrange for collection of LCL (less Container Load / smaller freight volumes greater than 1 ton) cargo which is consolidated at a dedicated warehouse (destination specific) and consolidated for delivery to selected destinations. Our warehousing ability alloys us to offer an un-pack service from where national destinations are dispatched.
